Nearly 50-year-old facility undergoing phased repairs and improvements to extend operational life for decades. District demonstrated agility by shifting internal funding resources to begin work in phases.
Park Place Family Recreation Center
Facility built in 1996 receiving ongoing updates and maintenance. Recent partnership established with RUSH Physical Therapy. The facility continues serving tens of thousands of children and adults annually.
Ian’s Farm
Eleven-acre facility at 360 W. Schaumburg Road acquired for future home of parks maintenance and administrative offices. Named in honor of former owner Ian Stevenson.
