Overview
The Streamwood Park District is undertaking a comprehensive renovation of the Park Place Aquatic Center pools to ensure the facility continues to serve the community for years to come.
The 25-year-old spa pool required complete replacement after engineers discovered a leak in the jet line system. Rather than attempt costly repairs to an intricate 90-degree angled pipe configuration, officials determined full replacement was more fiscally responsible.
The project also includes resurfacing the lap and activity pools with durable DiamondBrite finishing material, providing a modern, long-lasting surface for swimmers of all ages.
