Starlights Dance Company

Starlights Dance Team is an award-winning competitive dance team. Dancers receive training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and tap techniques. During the season, we attend a minimum of (3) three regional competitions in the spring and nationals in the summer. In addition, we provide opportunities for dancers to perform at various community events. 

Our mission is to create well-rounded dancers and instill values of teamwork, perseverance, and confidence. We strive to provide high-quality dance instruction in a safe, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere. 

Participation Requirements

Our dance team is designed for dancers ages 7 and up. All dancers must have prior dance experience in at least ballet and jazz. At this time, we do not have a mini team for dancers ages 5 to 6. If interested in a mini team, please inquire as we are looking to add this in the future! 

How Do I Sign Up My Dancer?

Acceptance to Starlights Dance Team is by audition only. During auditions, your dancer will be evaluated based on technique and performance skills. Auditions take place once a year during the summer months, however, we are always looking to add new members to our team! If you missed the audition deadline, your dancer can still enroll in our dance team technique classes for the season. Please visit the summer program guide for audition information.

Financial Expectations

The cost of our competitive dance team is higher than our recital classes offered through the dance academy program. Fees include but are not limited to: weekly classes, costume fees, competition entry fees, makeup, and more. We understand that participating in our competitive dance team does come with a larger financial commitment which is why we offer fundraising opportunities and payment plans to assist with financial costs.
