The new Rooftop PV Solar Project at Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy, 550 S. Park Blvd., was completed in late November and is expected to generate 434,720 kWh in electric power on an annual basis with an anticipated energy savings of $50,000+ annually. The system, which is designed for a 20+ year lifespan, has a return on investment (ROI) of 5 years and aligns with the Streamwood Park District’s values by enhancing and protecting our natural environment and resources. We hope this project brightens your holidays and new year!
