Our Commitment to Accessibility
The Streamwood Park District strives to make its web content accessible to all visitors,

digital experience. Accessibility and usability improvements to the Streamwood Park

clear instructions, and accessible error messaging - Focus indicators — Visible focus states are intended for interactive elements to
assist keyboard users - Skip navigation links — Where implemented, skip-to-content links allow users
to bypass repetitive navigation
3. Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. The Streamwood Park District is continuously taking
action to support improvements to its web content, including, but not limited to:
- Regular testing with automated accessibility scanning tools
- Manual testing with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation
- Incorporating accessibility best practices into our design and development process
- Providing accessibility training and awareness for team members involved in content creation and development
- Reviewing and updating this website to address identified issues and adopt evolving best practices

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some content, in accordance with Title
II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, may not fully meet all accessibility technical
