The Streamwood Park District is pleased to announce Commissioner Bill Wright as Park Board President and Commissioner Michelle Nugent as Park Board Vice President for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The election of board officers for this year took place at the Streamwood Park District Board meeting on June 24 at Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy, 550 S. Park Blvd..
“I am excited to work with President Wright, Vice President Nugent and all of our park board commissioners to continue to make the Streamwood Park District a valuable asset to our community,” said Executive Director Jeffrey Janda.
The Streamwood Park District is a separate governing unit which levies its own tax to provide park facilities and recreation for district residents. The five-member Board of Commissioners are each elected by the community to a four-year term and serve without compensation.
