Butterfly Park, located at 1010 Woodland Heights Boulevard, is set for a comprehensive renovation funded by an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant from the State of Illinois.
The park spans 2.95 acres and is named in memory of former Streamwood resident Donnette Wright and her passion for butterflies.
The renovation will transform the existing park amenities with modern, inclusive features while maintaining the butterfly theme that makes this park special to the community.
